. . .  THE CAPTIVE
With an expression of weary longing, this little pixie is designed to be displayed as a captured fae, but could be
shown off in a number of different settings. As a captive, she could be placed in a cage or english terrarium, or
even looking out from a curio cabinet in which she was accidently trapped when she ventured inside to catch
a glimpse of your treasures.  She could also be displayed as she is in the photo below, if you choose a
window which is free from direct sunlight, or is constructed with UV glass.  Although my mom has displayed
pieces I did for her in sunny windows for more than 10 years, with no issues, it is recommended that you treat
them as any other fine art.
~ the equivalent of 1:12 scale, this faery
is 4 inches high in her kneeling position.
She would be about 5.25 in. tall if she
were standing

~ wings are cicada, enhanced with
sculpting and color, and  treated for
durability

~ faerie is sculpted from a golden tan
shade of polymer clay, enhanced with
shadings of artist quality pigments.
(however, most of the skin is natural and
free of paint)

~ Her short cropped pixie is naturally
styled (meaning it can be wet or gently
washed and will still dry in the correct
style)  It was constructed from high
quality yearling angora, with varying
shades of highlights and lowlights

~ Please see photos for additional
details.

~ Her clothing is made from fine, extra
thin leather, silk threads, and feathers

I am also offering the piece seen below, CINDERELLA'S MOUSE
